Whitelisting a domain in mod_security

To whitelist a domain so that their site can work without any problem simply add this line into mod_security configuration:

SecRule SERVER_NAME “website.com” phase:1,nolog,allow,ctl:ruleEngine=off

Disable Mod_security rule for a specific application
====================================

for mod_security1 add this line into mod_security configuration:

SecFilterSelective REQUEST_URI “/path/to/application\.php” allow
—————-

for mod_security1 add this line into mod_security configuration:

SecRule REQUEST_URI “/path/to/application\.php” allow
